Jill + Mike's Rustic DIY Golden Retriever Backyard Wedding

Throwback to this beautiful summer DIY backyard wedding. I am still pinching myself to see if this wedding was real. SURE WAS and was quite freaking amazing.

As you probably know, I am an animal lover and it was by no surprise that I connected so well with my couple, J + M as they also shared their love for animals especially their golden retrievers.

Their wedding was held in the small town of St. Mary’s, Ontario. This is where J + M were raised, met, bought their first home and now where they got married. They both wanted a simple and fun outdoor wedding that was surrounded by their loved ones, romantic feel with lots of twinkle lights AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPIES. Many DIY projects later, they were able to have the most magical + fun wedding as they always dreamt of.

If you are debating if you should have puppies instead of bouquets for your wedding, the answer is always YES!!! Bring on the puppy breath and endless snuggles.

From the start, we loved her professional (and pretty) set up for communication and payment. Maddie was quick to return our pictures and I am blown away by what she was able to capture. I am not someone who usually likes having my picture taken and sat flipping through our gallery and sneak peeks with the biggest smile and happiest heart - the pictures are so beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for & more! Lastly, we have had so many comments from friends and wedding guests about Maddie’s wonderful personality and stunning photos! We could not be happier we stumbled upon her instagram page and would recommend her to everyone.”
